Mellor is a club that encourages golf for all. There is varied and mixed golf available for all categories: Ladies, Gents, Juniors, Seniors. To find out more about each of these sections, please click on the links at the bottom of this page.
When you visit the club, we promise that you can be assured of a warm welcome, and will delight in playing a challenging course with some of the finest views in the country.
In the last couple of years we have also introduced buggies at very competitive rates for the benefits of members and guests.
We are extremely proud to be only one of two clubs in the north west of England to hold the prestigious GOLFMARK award for development of junior golf.
We have great offers for new people joining our club. There are no entrance fees upon joining the club and pro rata membership fees apply when joining.

Primarily ladies join to play golf, however there is so much more to Mellor & Townscliffe Golf Club!
In the seniors’ section we aim to create and follow a programme of midweek golf which is designed to accommodate the varied needs of both new and longstanding senior members.
Mellor has one of the most thriving and lively juniors section in the area.
There is a thriving and enthusiastic gents section at Mellor, with all enjoying a variety of competition matches every week throughout the year.
