Our club has been certified by England Golf as a SAFE GOLF Certificated Venue

Mellor Golf Club are proud to have been awarded GolfMark (incorporating Sport England’s Clubmark) and SafeGolf, our renewed accreditation demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, as well as adults at risk in the sport of golf.

You can view our comprehensive  children and young adults Safeguarding Policy & Procedures here.

We also have an Adult Safeguarding Policy here.

Golf Access

Golf Access is an engaging approach that enables beginners to learn the game on the course rather than solely on a driving range, helping to build their skills, enjoyment and understanding of the game. There are 9 levels to progress through and will help to take a new golfer from a complete beginner to a standard of play that will enable them to obtain a handicap and join in all the activities at the golf club.  www.golfaccess.co.uk
