Craftmill Crowned Winners of the 2026 Greater Manchester Business Golf Cup
Mellor Golf Club was proud to host the 2nd Greater Manchester Business Golf Cup on Thursday 17th September, welcoming 18 teams from businesses across Greater Manchester for a fantastic day of golf, networking and competition.
After a brilliant day on the course, Craftmill were crowned the 2026 champions, with the winning team made up of Dave Barron, Club Captain Phil Welsh, Felix Kemp and Graham Davenport.
There was further success for the team too, as Phil and Felix recorded the two highest individual scores of the day, earning themselves the superb prize of two Turkish Airlines Business Class flights.
A huge thank you goes to Turkish Airlines for donating such a fantastic prize.
Our Head Professional Joe was out on the course throughout the day running Beat the Pro, while Barlows kindly sponsored the Hole in One prizes and JDEL sponsored the player gift bags.
The event was organised by Dan Clarke, and we would like to thank him for all the work that went into making the day such a success.
A big thank you also goes to Jamie and the greens team, who presented the course superbly despite challenging conditions in the run-up to the event, and to George and the bar and catering team for looking after everyone so well throughout the day.
Most importantly, thank you to all 18 teams who joined us and helped make this year's Greater Manchester Business Golf Cup such a memorable event.
It was fantastic to see the course and clubhouse full of businesses from across the region, and we are already looking forward to building on the success of this year's event.
