Members of Mellor Golf Club have once again shown their generosity by supporting a very worthwhile local charity. Our Lady Captain, Alison, recently presented a cheque for £600 to the Elton Memory Café at their Christmas lunch.

The donation was warmly received by the café’s volunteers and visitors, who provide invaluable support and friendship to people living with memory loss and their carers. The funds will help ensure the café can continue its important work within the community.

Alison has since received a heartfelt message of thanks from the charity, which reads:

“On behalf of all the volunteers and visitors to Elton Memory Café and Friendship Circle, can I thank you so very much for your generous donation to our Café. I can assure you it will be put to good use to benefit all those that attend.”
