2024 Opens

TEXAS SCRAMBLE - IMPORTANT INFO

Unfortunately - after heavy rainfall over the last couple of days, which was meant to ease up... but now isn't looking to ease up before tomorrow, we have taken the very difficult decision to postpone the Texas Scramble.

After consulting with our Pro, Head Greenkeeper, and Captains, this decision isn't one we have taken lightly and we would love nothing more for it to go ahead -especially after all the time, effort and costs that goes into organising an open!

We want it to be a fun day for all involved - enjoying a round of golf in the sun, having a beer on the balcony and a nice pit-stop at the summerhouse... and although we can't choose the weather on any day of the year, to have the chance to come back on a day where the course is drier and the sun is (hopefully) shining would be more enjoyable all-round.

We are therefore looking to rearrange to a date later on in the season, which will be confirmed asap. Please can you circulate this email to other members of your teams. 

Once again we are very sorry, but did not want to leave the decision until tomorrow in the hope that it may improve.

If you have any queries please let me know, and we will be in touch very soon to confirm a rearranged date.
