I booked a surprise birthday party at Mellor Golf Club and what a fantastic venue it is. Apart from the beautiful balcony views over the 18th, the interior is well laid out and spacious. There is disabled access to the Townscliffe Room and toilets. The stewards Zoe and Martin are only too pleased to send out menus and prices and are very friendly and helpful when organising parties and weddings. The food was amazing and plentiful and everyone was very complementary. Would highly recommend.

I’m a member of Marple & District Ramblers Club. I booked a meal at Mellor GC in Sept 2019 for a party of
42 ramblers following an evening stroll. We all agreed that the quality of the meals, and the efficient and friendly service, were excellent. I would highly recommend this venue and will definitely book again.

We hired the function room for my dad's 90th birthday celebration last year and were so impressed, we booked again for my mum's 90th! We had a 3 course menu and the food was plentiful, delicious and professionally served by Zoe and her friendly team. Great value too; we wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to make it back for our 70th wedding anniversary!

I’m not a golfer but belong to an informal ladies walking group. We love to walk from MGC as know we will be warmly welcomed into the club house after our walk for coffee and inevitably we shall be tempted to have either a snack or lunch and quite possibly sticky toffee pudding, well we do usually walk around 5-6 miles.
It was over one such lunch we decided to have our Christmas Party at MTGC and booked the Townscliffe Room. The room was beautifully decorated, the meal was excellent and we danced the night away with Zoe, Martin and the team looking after us superbly.
Everyone agreed it was an absolutely brilliant night and we are looking forward to being able to visit again when COVID-19 restrictions permit.

The Rotary Club of New Mills, Marple and District Rotary Club used to meet before the pandemic at the Mellor and Townscliffe Golf Club every Thursday Lunchtime. we were made very welcome and enjoyed the lunch provided in a good suitable private room with bar facilities available. As soon as the present restrictions allow, we shall be returning as it is an ideal home for us due to its happy atmosphere, pleasant staff and delicious meals.

We attended 2 Bistro nights during the eat out to help out time. Both evenings were very well organised in beautifully clean, safe and comfortable surroundings. The food was ecellent and both evenings highly enjoyable. Staff really good. Can recommend.
